Peer Nominations

As we have reached the middle of the semester, my classmates and I have accumulated just over a handful of blog posts discussing what we’ve learned, thus far. Today, we are asked to review our peer’s blogs and nominate one for recognition by the class. After reviewing each of my classmates’ blogs, I narrowed down the selection pool and finally decided who I was going to nominate.

It is my pleasure to nominate Jean Christie Go’s blog

While several of my classmates had really nicely laid-out blogs with pleasant themes and were nice to read, Jean’s blog captured my visual attention instantly. Her use of color blocks to create separations and placement of larger images without the use of borders made it feel very modern, similar to a magazine site might look. I really enjoyed reading her blog, too. It sounds like Jean, too: professional, detailed, but fun. A great example of her in-jean-uity, is that she found an anime to evaluate for our Behavior-Based Leadership post (pictured above). Also, the way she uses the more narrow columns made this an easy read; and the analysis kept me engaged. Each blog post having the same colors, but different formatting also kept me engaged. Overall, I think that Jean has done an outstanding job and deserves to be recognized for her work.
